Crush victim rescued by WNAA

Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) rescued
a man injured in Nuneaton on Friday, January 27.
The 39-year-old man was crushed between a half ton palate and
machinery whilst at work. The accident happened around 11.10am and
WNAA were called to the scene due to the nature of the
accident.
On arrival, the WNAA Doctor and Paramedic, along with the land
ambulance, treated the man for a suspected lower back and pelvis
injury. He was stabilised and immobilised with a pelvic splint by
the crew before being taken to University Hospitals Warwickshire
and Coventry for further treatment.
