The Agusta has U.K. CAA certification for full class 1, Category ''A'' (one engine inoperative) performance at maximum gross weight. This means it can operate with two patients and full medical staff from any site. It is also cleared for day and night single pilot operation.

State-of-the-Art Performance
The comprehensively equipped cockpit is, as previously stated, fully certified for single pilot IFR operations. Conventional cockpit instruments have been supplemented with multifunction active-matrix, liquid crystal displays. Key among these is the integrated display system which consolidates all engine and subsystem instruments into two compact, efficient and easily readable electronic colour displays on the lower centre panel.

The fully coupled flight control system is designed for single or dual pilot operations and includes a three axis Duplex Autopilot with flight director. The aircraft’s sophisticated navigation system provides multifunctional display information on the primary and secondary LCD instruments and incorporates comprehensive GPS information, which gives distance and direction. The helicopter is renowned for its light weight, high reliability and maximum performance.
