On 23rd July 2010 Coventry, City Centre Ring Road was closed as local Air Ambulance, Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance landed on it to rescue a patient following a serious accident.

The collision happened early evening and a female driver needed immediate medical attention when her car was involved in a road traffic collision (RTC). The 33 year old female suffered a serious arm injury and needed urgent hospital care.
