On Sunday 18th July 2010 Warwickshire & Northamptonshire were called to attend a mission in Weedon, Northamptonshire. The WNAA crew received the call early evening and made their way to the scene in less than 10 minutes.

The crew landed in a field in Church Street and quickly made their way to the patient, a 45 year old male who had suffered leg and arm injuries as he was hit by a train.

The crew stabilised the male and made him more comfortable before airlifting him to University Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital and their waiting Trauma Team.
