On 28th July 2010, the crew attended a road traffic collision in Coventry involving a car and a motorcyclist.  The accident happened mid morning on Stoneleigh Road. The road was closed for around an hour as local emergency services worked together on the scene.
 
The expert WNAA crew were on the scene in less than seven minutes and landed in a field next to the patient. A 67 year old male from Bedford was suffering from back and shoulder pain and needed further hospital care.  The crew quickly assessed the patient, administered pain relief and immobilised him to prevent further movement before air lifting him to University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire.
