Volunteer Speaker
Why we need you?
To raise awareness of Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air
Ambulance (WNAA) and increase donations though giving talks in your
local community.
What will I be doing?
- Representing the WNAA through regular speaking
engagements.
- Presenting a variety of topics including aircraft, medical and
fundraising information.
- Recording any enquiries made by members of the public
requesting a talk. and liaising with the Regional.
- Fundraising Manager to book this.
- Keeping simple records of your talks for administrative
purposes.
What skills and attributes do I need?
How much time do I need to commit?
Ideally, you would average a minimum of one talk per month on a
flexible time commitment where you keep your own diary of speaking
engagements.
What support will I be given?
- You will receive opportunities to shadow other volunteer
speakers and staff members delivering talks.
- We will give you a full induction on all aspects of the role,
including your presentation on CD.
- Formal training will be arranged periodically on public
speaking.
- We will provide you with continuous support, advice and
guidance.

Where will I be based?
Most of your work will involve being out and about representing
the charity in your local area.
