Volunteer Action Team Member

Why we need you?

Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) have a range of volunteers who work on a variety of fundraising projects from attending our events, to helping out with mass collections and fundraising for us in their local communities. Our volunteers play a signifi cant role in raising vital funds, increasing public awareness of the charity and campaigning for us on particular issues.

We are looking for both Warwickshire and Northamptonshire volunteers to become members of our Action Team who will help out at fundraising and awareness events.

What will I be doing?

• Help at fundraising events e.g. marshalling, collections, bag packs etc.
• Help out with specifi c annual projects e.g. Air Ambulance Day activities.
• Assist with our awareness raising activities.

What skills and attributes do I need?

• Access to a telephone or e-mail.
• Enthusiasm.
• Good communication skills.
• A willingness to help the charity.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

How much time do I need to commit?

• As an Action Team member, you control the time you give to WNAA.
• You will only be asked to do short term or one-off events.
• You will be offered specific volunteering opportunities but you will decide whether you take part.

What support will I be given?

WNAA will provide all the training and support you need to feel comfortable in the role.

Where will I be based?

You will be based your area. You will not be expected to travel more than 30 miles to volunteer.
